They tell stories about our lives and people dear to us. We specialize in converting print photos into digital format. Most people have several hundred pictures stored away in a "safe place". Isn't it a shame that most of them are rarely removed from that "safe place" and shared with friends and family? Document Services

At Bear Mountain Trading Co. we also provide document scanning services. Do you have file cabinets or boxes full of important paperwork? How organized is it? Can you easily find what you're searching for? Ever worry about protecting those important documents in the event of a disaster? With all your documents saved electronically you won't need to worry about them any longer! We can scan and save your important documents in your choice of formats. Choose between; Microsoft®: Word®, Excel®, Powerpoint®, or Adobe PDF®,  or as an image in; JPEG & TIFF formats.We currently handle up to 8.5" x 14" (legal size) in single or double sided formatting. A complete file box or a typical sized file cabinet can be reduced to a CD, flash drive, or stored in a cloud service. If stored in PDF, formats are also searchable. This means you can search for particular words, titles, etc. in a multiple page document. PDF formats are also author protected; this means that if the file is shared with someone it cannot be edited.   • All scanning services over 100 items include; 1 free CD or DVD disc, and 1 free copy to a customer supplied digital storage device.

  • 300 DPI Scanning of loose photos, up to 8.5" x 11" size, without color correction= .25 per photo

  • 300 DPI Scanning of loose photos, up to 8.5" x 11" size, with color correction = .30 per photo 

  • 600 DPI Scanning of loose photos, up to 8.5" x 11" size, with color correction = .35 per photo

  • Document Scanning = .20 per page, up to 8.5" x 14" size​

  • 16 GB USB Flash drive = $12.00     32GB USB Flash Drive = $20.00     

  • 16GB Micro SD card = $14.00     32GB Micro SD card = $28.00   All Micro SD cards come with a full size SD card adapter.

  • Each additional required disc; CD = $3.00, DVD = $6.00

 

  • Our 300 DPI and 600 DPI scans have the option of automatic color correction applied to each photo. With this option you will receive 2 files per photo scanned, 1 without any correction and 1 with automatic color correction. This is a great option for viewing the original state of the photo and/or applying your own enhancements. It will also more than double the storage requirements for your photos.

  • Scanning of both sides of photos (to capture handwritten notes) and documents is available upon request and will be quoted according to the size of the job.
